Firefox 2.0 is to hit tomorrow

According to Mozilla vice president of products Christopher Beard, Firefox 2.0, which should be available on tomorrow (10/24/06) if all goes according to schedule, includes key new usability features missing in IE7.Firefox 2.0 features anti-phishing alerts, session restore, spell checking, suggested searches, and several other enhancement and additions to version 1.5, the last major update to the open-source browser.

Soon there will be the new “L Browser” based off of new Firefox 2.0 which will be one of the most advanced, secure and easy-to-use Internet browsers available for desktop and laptop computers. It will protect you from common website scams—also known as “phishing”—which try to fool you into handing over your passwords and other personal information. L Browser will tell you when it thinks a website might be a scam. L Browser will also feature tabbed web browsing, Hot Words, in-line spell checking, and pop-up ad blocking. And L Browser is compatible with QuickTime, Windows media, Flash, and Java and a lot more.
